Regional Feile Winners
Congratulations to our U14 team who won the Ulster GAA Provincial Feile cup at Woodlands. After a victory over Tullagh Og and a defeat against Craobh Rua, Brid Og finished second in Group D and were drawn to meet Group A winners Rossa in the Cup Competition.
A tight win in the quarter final and a similar outcome against Carryduff in the semi final meant another meeting with Craobh Rua in the final, where Brid Og again came out on top to lift the cup.
Every one of the 15 players put in great performances to bring us victory. Well done to all the players and coaches. Again we had fantastic support from the sidelines, so thanks to our supporters also.

U12 Draco Cup winners
There were two great finals in the Bríd Og Draco Floodlight Cup and Shield. Bríd Og came out winners in the cup final, snatching victory from Lamh Dearg in the last minute with two well taken goals. St Galls were winners in the shield final overcoming Creggan in another tight game. The tournament was over 3 weeks and on show was a very high level of hurling from all clubs. A big thank you to all mentors and players who participated in the games over the last month.

P7/6 Shield Winners
Bríd Óg's P7/6 squad travelled to the Meadowbank Arena in Magherafelt to play in the Maggie Close Memorial Tournament, hosted by Moneyglass GAC. The long trip was worth it, as the boys returned home with the shield. Although a slow start meant Bríd Óg lost their first match, the response of the boys was magnificent as they won all six remaining games to deservedly win the shield competition. Thanks very much to Moneyglass for again inviting us to their tournament. Yet again it was a great day's hurling for our lads.

U16 Championship Final
In Bríd Óg's first ever championship match at U16 level our team won their semi final against Gort Na Mona by 6-11 to 3-5. It was an entertaining and competitive match, with Brid Òg's ability to take their goals being a big factor in the boys coming out on top.
The final is against Lamh Dhearg and is scheduled for 6.15pm on Friday 6th October at Woodlands. All support welcome, so get out and give the boys your support. Good luck to the players and coaches involved.
